The Design Triangle

                                          The 12:1 ratio is the Pyramid's geometrical secret.

The DESIGN TRIANGLE shows the dimensions produced by the 12:1 ratio.

                            The height                    479.9365

                            The slant sides             610.9223

                            The Base length           756

The two triangles on the base at the ends of the 12:1 ratio have the dimensions    43.8615 -  55.6898 - 70.8885.

                             43.8615 X 8.618033 = The Half Base

                             55.6898 X 8.618033 = The Pyramid height

                             70.8885 X 8.618033 =  The Slant Height
                                                                 
The distance from the entrance floor level to the south side =  668.2776        12 of the 12:1 ratio.
The distance from the Entrance level to the base                 =    55.6898          1 of the 12:1 ratio.

The balance of the base length is 756 - 668.2776 = 87.7224 =  43.8615 at each end.   

All interior measurements are dictated by the entrance floor height.

All dimensions are accurate, investigate them, find others. There is much to see. Only the most important ones are here.

The most unusual multiple is the value 8.618033. In a later print multiples ranging from 1.618033 to 8.618033 will be shown. Can this
possibly be related to Phi?

This is the design used by the ancient Egyptians, it follows mathematical rules that the 1.618 triangle does not.
